Pastor
I was born in Milwaukee, WI, grew up in San Diego, CA, and went to high school in Watertown, WI. After a mission trip to Antigua during the summer before my senior year of high school, I decided I wanted to try studying to be a pastor. I attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota, to begin my pre-seminary studies in the pastor track offered there. While attending college, I met my wife Sarah. We quickly bonded over our love of sports, games, and the outdoors.
After graduating from Martin Luther College, I began attending Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin. Sarah and I then got married on June 17, 2017, right before my first year at the seminary. I spent the third year of my seminary training as a vicar (like an intern pastor) at St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Watertown, South Dakota. Vicar year was a great experience full of learning how to be a shepherd for God’s people.
I received my master of divinity degree and graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in May 2021. After graduating, I was assigned to be a pastor, dorm supervisor, Old Testament teacher, and coach at Martin Luther College for two years. In May 2023 I was reassigned to start a new mission church in the Metro East. Sarah and I are so blessed to be here; we already love this beautiful area of God’s creation.
We're also blessed with two little boys, Solomon and Isaiah. They're both amazing gifts we don't deserve.
We look forward to working with the Peace family as we seek to reach people with the peace found in Jesus.
